Monday, December 01, 2008VAT Rate ChangeThe VAT rate reduced to 15% on 1 December 2008. The price that has been charged for EasyMonitor has not changed in the 4 years since it was first released. In fact when it was first sold GP-IT was not VAT registered and when we became VAT registered the VAT inclusive price did not change and GP-IT absorbed the VAT in the same overall price. As a result, we have decided to keep the price unchanged at £175 despite the slight reduction in VAT. If the VAT rate increases again to 17.5% then the price will remain the same. This makes our accounting a lot easier and we hope that you will not object. Please note that this only applies to EasyMonitor posted by Peter 12:04 AM

Friday, April 11, 2008We now have confirmation from McAfee Avert Labs that EasyLabeller, EasyMonitor and Doctate are all virus-free. DAT file 5272 has been released which fixes the problem.Unfortunately the affected applications will need to be re-installed. The McAfee antivirus alert reporting EasyLabeller and Easymonitor to be infected with MalWarrior virus this morning is a FALSE ALARM. Unfortunately this information will be too late to prevent it deleting these files and thus rendering the software unusable.
Wednesday, March 19, 2008McAfee have admitted that they made a mistake over the supposed generic.dx trojan infection last week and have issued new DAT files. This will have prevented further problems but if you have have had one of our programs deleted by McAfee and cannot get it working again, please contact support@gp-it.co.uk for advice about re-installation.This problem was nothing to do with GP-IT software but has caused a lot of problems for our customers. Control-IT helped a number of practices while I was on holiday. If you do not have an EasyLabeller support contract, I recommend that that is a sensible precaution in future as we cannot guarantee to help out users who do not have support contracts. Thursday, January 17, 2008GP-IT is now an EMIS accredited partner for EasyLabeller for LV. EasyLabeller for PCS should also be accredited shortly.Version 2.0.1 includes appointment card functionality and allows the printing of appointment slips from EMIS LV and PCS.
